So I've heard about what happened almost a week ago, but I never got around to posting my thoughts here until now. Akira Toriyama, the creator of the Dragon Ball Z franchise, as well as the artist for Dragon Quest and Chrono Trigger, has unfortunately passed away on March 1st due to acute subdural hematoma (a type of brain clot or aneurysm). He was 68 years old. His work inspired numerous anime/manga, such as Yu Yu Hakusho, Naruto, One Piece, Bleach, and many more. He also had one of the coolest art styles out there, and his tragic death has left many fans heartbroken and devastated. Akira Toriyama may not have been the best writer, but his work launched a whole franchise that is still popular to this day. Without him, Dragon Ball Z and the various anime/manga he inspired wouldn't have existed, and neither would all of my crossover series. His work will live on in the hearts of fans worldwide, and his legacy will continue for many more generations to come. Thank you, Akira Toriyama
